SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- KeyBank today donated $100,000 to Jubilee Homes to bolster a program that finds jobs for veterans, former inmates and other out-of-work people.
The money will be used to develop work skills and "soft" skills for at least 50 people, primarily veterans and people who have been incarcerated.
"It's the beginning step to climbing the ladder of opportunity," said Walt Dixie, executive director of Jubilee. "If we don't empower people with employment, we keep the cycle of disparity."
